The firm can borrow money at an interest rate (cost of capital) of 13% per year. Idle cash may be invested in US Treasury Bills at an interest rate of 5%.
Mr A, the firm's president, argues that the project ought to be rejeccted, since it never pays off.
Mrs. B, the firm's Vice President, after using her pocket calculator, feels that the project is worthwhile since the IRR is 14%. Her ambitious assistant, Mr C, just graduated with honors from the Boston University overseas program, checked the calculations and found the IRR to be 6%.

Meine Fragen:
Wie weise ich die zwei IRRs nach? (in meiner Lösung steht , dass beide richtig sind...). Ich meine eine IRR ausrechnen das bekomme ich hin, aber das mit dem nachweisen bekomme ich einfach nicht zusammen.
Und zu (b)... : Es kommt eindeutig ein negativer Kapitalwert bei dem Investitionsprojekt heraus (-2,21). Ich tu mich immer noch schwer damit , bei einem negativen Kapitalwert überhaupt noch darüber nachzudenken , ob das Projekt gewinnbringend sei (ich meine, in der Aufgabe ist es ja auch ausgeschlossen , dass das Projekt mehrmals durchgeführt wird).
sind die 13% von Relevanz für diese Aufgabe oder dienen sie der Verwirrung?
